03/10/10

This morning I went for walk at Ambleside Beach - as only happens in the fall, the bridge and ocean were still shrouded in fog, and bridge and ships alike appeared as phantoms.

Much later, at around 7 pm, I pulled over and watched as the setting sun moved between two layers of clouds, emerging fully just long enough to bath the world in light, before again sinking from view.

I didn't think I was supposed to be in either place until I got there and realized I was exactly where I should be, at just the second I should be there.

This life is a magical, beautiful trip.

Thanks for being wherever you are.

  1. Thanks for sharing that special moment ... I've had two amazing sunsets here in Powell River- the kind that make me want to scream out loud with joy and pleasure at the magical mix of colours. But then, facing west, we also get the most amazing sunrises, or sunrise reflections, I guess they are ... all silver and gold and white. Today we have "some weather coming in" as the locals call it, and I went over to Willingdon Beach to enjoy the sunshine, and apparently to get pushed by the wind along the shore. Fun! And the water is choppy and all whitecaps and full of excitement. :) More changes ... get ready!
